Dr. Rita Sadowski is a double-board certified plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon serving Boston and its western suburbs. She has a special interest in breast surgery, including reduction, augmentation, oncoplastic surgery, reconstruction and revision of reconstruction. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts Medical Center and a member of the Newton Wellesley breast cancer program.
Her other areas of expertise include facial cosmetic surgery including face lift, rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty; body contouring including abdominoplasty, liposuction, and arm, buttock and thigh lifts; and hand surgery including endoscopic treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome.
Dr. Sadowski earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She then traveled north to Philadelphia, and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and her MBA in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of Business. She completed her general surgery residency and orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at the University of Massachusetts, and her plastic surgery residency at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson School in New Jersey. She now resides in Massachusetts, and is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Sadowski operates at the Tufts Medical Center, MetroWest Medical Center, New England Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
